To the District 5 School Board Residents of Bleckley County:
It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of civic responsibility that I write to endorse voting for Kandace Lucas to serve you as the District 5 School Board member.
Having served as the Principal of Bleckley Primary for 32 years, I had the privilege of hiring and working closely with Kandace during her tenure as an educator. I have seen firsthand the qualities that make her an exceptional candidate for this position: integrity, a collaborative spirit, and an unwavering commitment to academic excellence.
During her time in the classroom, Kandace was truly an exemplary teacher. However, what stood out most was her “students-first” heart. She never viewed her students as just names on a roster; she saw them as future leaders and advocated for their needs with passion and pragmatism. Whether she was developing innovative lesson plans or volunteering for school committees, her primary question was always: “How does this benefit the children?”
A school board requires members who understand the daily realities of our classrooms while maintaining a clear vision for the district’s future. Kandace possesses that rare balance. She understands that a successful school system is built on a foundation of supporting both its educators and its students.
I am confident that she will bring the same dedication to the boardroom that she brought to her classroom every single day. I urge you to join me in supporting Kandace Lucas for the Bleckley County District 5 School Board position in this upcoming election.
