The Ledger is inviting local voices to be part of a special community feature celebrating life in Cochran and Bleckley County.
Are you a poet and your friends and family don’t even know it? We’d love to hear from you.
We are currently accepting original poems that reflect:
• Small-town life
• Life in Cochran or Bleckley County
• Faith, community, family, or everyday moments
Submissions should be:
• 400 words or less
• Original and unpublished
• Positive, uplifting, or reflective in tone
Please include:
• Your name
• The Bleckley County community you are from
• Age
• (Optional) Headshot

The top 10 poems will be selected for publication on The Ledger.
