Bethany Baptist Church in Cochran has announced several upcoming events for April.
The church will observe the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering throughout the month, supporting North American missions.
Easter services will be held Sunday, April 5, beginning with a sunrise service at 7 a.m., followed by breakfast in the Fellowship Hall. Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m., and the choir will present the Easter cantata, “Like a Lamb,” during the 11 a.m. worship service. There will be no evening service.
The annual Men and Boys Fishing Trip to Lake Sinclair is scheduled for April 10-11. All men and boys are invited to participate.
A baby shower for Maddi Fish Hibbert will be held Sunday, April 19, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Looking ahead, the church will host a fundraising takeout dinner on Friday, May 1, to benefit the Roof Fund. Plates will include smoked pork chops, green beans and mashed potatoes, with pickup available from 5 to 7 p.m.
