Bleckley County used a big fifth inning and a strong performance on the mound to defeat Emanuel County Institute 4-1 at home Monday night.

After falling behind 1-0 in the first inning, the Royals settled in and tied the game in the fourth before breaking it open with three runs in the fifth.

T. Evans led the way on the mound, pitching a complete game while allowing just four hits and one run with two strikeouts.

At the plate, Bleckley County recorded six hits. G. Cole paced the offense with two hits and an RBI, while W. Boatright, J. Johnson, and L. Sapp each drove in a run.

Bleckley County continues to build momentum with another solid performance.
