COCHRAN — Fridays are becoming a time for tiles, strategy and fellowship at the Tessie W. Norris/Cochran-Bleckley Library.
The library hosts Mahjong each Friday at 2 p.m., welcoming both experienced players and those who have never played the popular tile-based game.
Recent gatherings have drawn players around several tables for an afternoon of friendly competition, conversation and plenty of fun.
Newcomers shouldn’t worry about knowing the rules before they arrive. Organizers are happy to teach anyone interested in learning.
Mahjong is held every Friday at 2 p.m. at the library.
