COCHRAN — Live music, food trucks and a hometown performer will take center stage as Cochran’s Second Saturday celebration returns on Saturday, Aug. 8, beginning at 7 p.m. at 102 North Second Street.
Headlining the evening will be Dustin Simmons & Band.
A Cochran resident, Simmons has spent more than two decades performing on stages across the country. In addition to his music career, he has more than 11 years of experience in church ministry and currently serves as Worship Pastor at Empire Church in Cochran.
Known for blending music with a heart for serving others, Simmons is passionate about creating meaningful worship experiences and helping people grow in their relationship with Christ.
Visitors can enjoy an evening of live entertainment while sampling offerings from multiple food trucks as downtown Cochran comes alive for another community gathering.
Second Saturday events are designed to bring residents and visitors together to enjoy local music, food and fellowship in the heart of downtown.
The event begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at 102 North Second Street in Cochran. Admission is free.
