COCHRAN — The Tessie W. Norris/Cochran-Bleckley Library has released its calendar of events for August, offering activities for children, teens and adults throughout the month.
The library’s schedule includes opportunities for creativity, games, crafts and fellowship, with several recurring programs returning each week.
The August lineup includes:
- Tuesday, Aug. 4 – Lego Club, 4 p.m. (All ages)
- Thursday, Aug. 6 – Canasta, 1 p.m. (Adults)
- Friday, Aug. 7 – Mahjong, 2 p.m. (Adults)
- Tuesday, Aug. 11 – Craft & Create, 4 p.m. (All ages)
- Thursday, Aug. 13 – Canasta, 1 p.m. (Adults)
- Friday, Aug. 14 – Mahjong, 2 p.m. (Adults)
- Tuesday, Aug. 18 – Dungeons & Dragons, 3:30 p.m. (Tweens and up)
- Wednesday, Aug. 19 – Knit & Crochet Club, 4 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 20 – Canasta, 1 p.m. (Adults)
- Friday, Aug. 21 – Mahjong, 2 p.m. (Adults)
- Monday, Aug. 24 – Puzzles! Drop-In All Day
- Wednesday, Aug. 26 – Knit & Crochet Club, 4 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 27 – Canasta, 1 p.m. (Adults)
- Friday, Aug. 28 – Mahjong, 2 p.m. (Adults)
Library programs are free and provide opportunities for residents of all ages to learn new skills, meet fellow community members and enjoy a variety of educational and recreational activities.
