Heartland EMS is introducing the community to another member of its team through its ongoing Employee Spotlight series, this time featuring dispatcher Kayla Greer.
Greer has been with Heartland EMS for a year and a half and brought three years of previous dispatching experience with her when she joined the organization.
According to Heartland EMS, Greer enjoys spending time with her family, traveling with her boyfriend and spending time with her pup, Sadie Pearl, when she is away from work.
In the spotlight feature, Greer shared that she did not initially expect to enjoy working in emergency medical dispatch.
“I did not realize I would love dispatching until I got into it,” she said, adding that she now “absolutely loves” what she does.
Heartland EMS’ Employee Spotlight series gives the public an opportunity to get to know the people who work behind the scenes and on the front lines to serve communities across the region.
