Children and their families traveled back to prehistoric times Wednesday morning as Paleontologist Diggery brought his interactive Diggery’s Dino Adventure to the Bleckley County Library.
The lively program featured giant dinosaur eggs, fossils, puppets and plenty of audience participation, keeping dozens of children engaged from beginning to end.
Young attendees eagerly volunteered to help with demonstrations, examine fossils and answer dinosaur trivia as Diggery blended science, storytelling and humor into an educational experience. One of the biggest highlights came when a colorful dinosaur puppet emerged from a giant dinosaur egg, drawing smiles and laughter from the crowd.
Throughout the program, children remained captivated, raising their hands to answer questions and taking turns assisting with hands-on activities centered around dinosaurs and paleontology.
Parents and grandparents joined the fun, watching as the young audience learned about prehistoric creatures through interactive demonstrations designed for children of all ages.
The event was part of the Bleckley County Library’s summer programming, which offers free educational and family-friendly activities throughout the season.
