Bleckley County Elementary School students recently represented their school at the National Beta Club Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, bringing home national recognition in two categories.
According to information provided by Bleckley County Elementary School, Lille Kay Darsey earned second place in Creative Writing, while Rayland Bell placed fifth in Health & Physical Education.
School officials congratulated both students and recognized all BCES Beta Club members who competed at the national level.
“We are so proud of Lille Kay, Rayland and all of our BCES Beta students who competed this week,” the school stated in a social media post. “Their hard work, dedication and leadership were on full display as they represented BCES at the national level with excellence.”
BCES also recognized the support of Beta sponsors and parents, noting that their encouragement, time and dedication helped students prepare for the national competition.
School leaders emphasized that every student who competed represented Bleckley County Elementary School well and should be proud of their accomplishments.
