We want to make our subscribers aware of a technical issue affecting some of our email notifications.

Several readers have reported that emails from The Ledger are appearing with the sender name “The Salon” rather than “The Ledger.” While the content, logo, and links in the emails are still ours, we understand how confusing this can be.

We have reviewed our website and newsletter settings and everything appears to be configured correctly on our end. At this time, it appears the issue may be related to our hosting/email delivery provider, and we are working with them to identify and resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, if you are a subscriber, we would appreciate your help.

Please check the “From” name on any recent email you received from us and let us know whether it appears as:

  • The Ledger
  • The Salon

If possible, please send us a screenshot or a brief note with what you see.
