From Staff Reports

Families looking for a day of outdoor fun now have a new option in Bleckley County.

Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Cochran has announced its new Camp Pass Wednesdays, allowing guests to enjoy many of the park’s popular attractions for a single-day admission price.

The Wednesday day passes are available from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and cost $20 per person, while children ages 3 and younger are admitted free.

The pass includes access to several of the park’s most popular activities, including the swimming pool, bounce houses, select daily activities, Hey Hey Hey wagon rides, character appearances and foam parties. Guests may also enjoy catch-and-release fishing during their visit.

In addition to the activities included with admission, several specialty attractions will be available for an additional fee. These include gem mining, tie-dye activities, Candy Bar Bingo and ceramic painting.

According to park officials, advance reservations are strongly encouraged due to limited capacity. While walk-ins are welcome, admission cannot be guaranteed if the park reaches its daily limit.

The day pass program offers local families an opportunity to experience the attractions of the campground without booking an overnight stay.

To reserve a Wednesday day pass, call 478-934-6694.
