Families looking for summer fun will have plenty of opportunities to celebrate as Jellystone Park™ Yogi Bear’s Camp-Resort in Cochran hosts Yogi Bear Birthday Week June 1-7.
The weeklong celebration will feature daily activities for campers and visitors, including games, crafts, inflatables, water activities, contests, and special appearances by Yogi Bear and friends.
Activities begin each day with inflatable open play and continue throughout the afternoon and evening with events ranging from rock painting and bracelet making to pool bingo, slime making, tie-dye activities, and gem mining.
Special highlights throughout the week include a community picnic and campfire with s’mores on Friday, June 5, and a full slate of birthday-themed activities on Saturday, June 6. Saturday’s events include a foam party, birthday hat craft, water balloon musical chairs, freeze dance, and the Yogi Bear Birthday Bash at 4 p.m.
Guests will also have opportunities throughout the week to participate in activities such as letters to the bears, cartoons, sidewalk chalk art, candy bar bingo, ceramics, horseshoes, and Gaga Ball.
The park’s registration station will be open daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The pool will be open daily from 9 a.m. until dusk.
Jellystone Park is located at 592 Ga. Highway 87 South in Cochran.
