According to unofficial results posted on the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office website, Kandace M. Lucas is leading incumbent Shanna Oliver Evans Tuesday night in the Bleckley County Board of Education District 5 race.
Lucas received 435 total votes, including:
- 186 Election Day votes
- 246 advance voting ballots
- 3 absentee by mail votes
Evans received 349 total votes, including:
- 152 Election Day votes
- 196 advance voting ballots
- 1 absentee by mail vote
A total of 784 votes were cast in the race.
Results remain unofficial pending certification.
