What began out of heartbreak has grown into something that continues to give back.
On Aug. 28, 2023, tragedy struck the Warren family with the loss of Isaiah Warren—a young man remembered for his kindness, generosity and love for others.
Isaiah was the son of Reggie and Denise Warren, owners of DGRS Clubhouse, and the younger brother of Matthew Holland, a 2007 Bleckley County graduate. A senior at Twiggs Academy, Isaiah was an active student and athlete, starting on the school’s baseball team and also playing basketball.
Before transferring, Isaiah attended Bleckley County schools through middle school. His ties to the community ran deep—his mother, Denise, also worked in the Bleckley County School System for many years before retiring and continuing her work in education at Twiggs Academy.
Those who knew Isaiah describe him as someone who would “give the shirt off his back” to help others. He loved his family and friends and spent much of his time doing what he enjoyed most—riding his truck, Jeep or dirt bike, hunting, fishing with his cousins Memphis and Silas, welding or sharing meals at some of his favorite local spots, including DGRS, Subway and LaCabana.
His loss left a lasting impact on both his family and the community.
In an effort to carry forward Isaiah’s heart for helping others, the Off-Road Madness Expo was created.
The event serves not only as a gathering for off-road enthusiasts but also as a way to give back. Funds raised help cover event expenses and contribute to a scholarship fund for a student to attend Twiggs Academy.
This year’s Off-Road Madness Expo will be held Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Twiggs Academy.
Registration will take place on site, with entry set at $20 per vehicle and $10 per bike, four-wheeler or ATV.
The event will feature a variety of attractions, including vendors, raffle prizes, auction items and T-shirts for sale. Organizers say there will also be 13 award categories, with unique trophies created from recycled car parts by students and staff at the Georgia VECTR Center.
Organizers are currently welcoming donations—including food, raffle items and monetary contributions—to support the event and its mission.
The expo is hosted by the Full Battle Rattle Jeep Club, which can be found on Facebook.
More than just an event, organizers say the day is about honoring Isaiah’s life by continuing the kindness and generosity he showed to others.
