Plans are already underway for Cochran’s annual Fourth of July celebration, with a full evening of activities scheduled for Saturday, July 4, in downtown Cochran.

The event will kick off with a Cruise-In at 5 p.m. along Main Street, inviting participants to bring classic cars, trucks, and hot rods to showcase.

Festivities continue at 6 p.m. with live music on the courthouse stage, along with food trucks, vendors, and a variety of family-friendly activities. Highlights include water play for kids, a bicycle parade, golf cart parade, cornhole and games, a peach cobbler contest, an ice cream competition, and a 1-mile and 5K road race. A fly-in is also planned at Cochran Municipal Airport.

The evening will conclude with a fireworks show at dark.

Organizers encourage residents to bring lawn chairs and enjoy a night of community celebration in downtown Cochran.
