From Heartland EMS
Heartland EMS is introducing members of its team through an ongoing Employee Spotlight series, giving the public an opportunity to meet the dedicated professionals who serve the community each day.
This week’s spotlight features Cindy Gordon, an EMT with more than two decades of experience in emergency medical services.
Gordon has worked as an EMT for 21 years, including the past 13 years with Heartland EMS. Her years of service reflect a long-standing commitment to helping others during times of need.
When asked why she chose EMS work, Gordon said she enjoys helping people, meeting new people, and working alongside a strong team.
“I like being an EMT because I enjoy helping people. I enjoy meeting new people and I do work with wonderful people,” she said.
Outside of work, Gordon enjoys spending time with her family and her six dogs.
Heartland EMS said the Employee Spotlight series is designed to help the public get to know the staff members who work behind the scenes and on the front lines of emergency response.
