What a beautiful lady! True beauty goes beyond one’s appearance; it must also emerge from within.
She portrays a contentment and an overall peace that must be the result of God’s presence within her.
From the pulpit on Sunday mornings, I’ve noticed there are those who have a radiance and a certain countenance.
It is unmistakable. This occurs in people who have spent time with the Lord. This was true of Moses in Exodus 34:29-35.
After spending time in the presence of God on Mount Sinai, Moses came down with his face shining because he had spoken with the Lord, though he himself was unaware of the radiance.
The people of Israel were afraid to come near him, so Moses veiled his face when speaking to them, removing it only when he returned to the Lord.
Perhaps the beauty we admire most is not found in outward appearance, but in a heart that has spent time with the Lord. When we consistently draw near to Him,
His peace settles within us, and His light begins to show through us.
Surprisingly, while we may not even recognize it ourselves, others will see the difference. As you spend time with God, His radiance will shine upon your face.
