Kamari McNair, Scout Totty and Sheyla Morales spent part of their morning hitting the books at The Mule Barn, making the most of a quiet spot downtown to study. The trio joked they were “studying everything,” as papers, notes and laptops covered the table.
Scout was recently named Bleckley County Schools’ STAR Student, an honor recognizing academic achievement and leadership.
Fittingly, watching over the scene is a photo of the late James Holland, remembered for his love of coffee and learning—making the moment feel even more at home in The Mule Barn.
