COCHRAN, Ga. — Theatre at Middle Georgia State University (MGA) will present I and You, a touching play by Lauren Gunderson, Nov. 12–14 at Russell Hall Auditorium on the university’s Cochran Campus.
Performances will begin at 7 p.m. each evening, and admission is free and open to the public.
Directed by Dr. John Iverson, I and You tells the story of two students who form an unexpected connection while working on a last-minute English assignment centered on Walt Whitman’s famous poetry collection, Leaves of Grass.
What begins as a school project develops into a meaningful exploration of friendship, human connection and the ways people can influence one another’s lives.
The production continues MGA’s commitment to making the fine arts accessible to the communities it serves by offering theatrical performances at no charge.
Community members, students and visitors are invited to attend any of the three evening performances.
