Bleckley County High School recorded a 99.3% graduation rate for the 2025-2026 school year, exceeding Georgia’s statewide graduation rate of 88.5% by 10.8 percentage points, according to information released by Bleckley County Schools.
Bleckley County Success Academy also surpassed the state average, posting an 89.3% graduation rate.
“This is an incredible accomplishment for our students and our entire school district,” Superintendent Dr. Trey Belflower said. “We are proud of our graduates for the work it took to reach this milestone. We are also deeply grateful to the teachers who have encouraged, challenged, and cared for them throughout their years in our schools.”
District officials emphasized that reaching graduation is the result of work that begins years before students enter their senior year.
From primary school through high school, teachers work to build academic foundations, encourage students to reach their potential and provide support as they progress through the school system. Administrators, counselors and support staff also contribute to helping students stay on track toward graduation.
“This is what it looks like when a district works together for its students,” Belflower said. “Our teachers give so much of themselves every day, and this achievement reflects their dedication.”
Bleckley County Schools congratulated its graduates while also thanking the educators, staff members and families who supported students throughout their education.
The district continues to promote its commitment to student achievement through its motto, “Expect Excellence!”
