COCHRAN — The Cochran City Council will hold a public hearing Thursday, Aug. 27, to receive comments on the city’s proposed fiscal year 2026-2027 budget.
The hearing is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the City Auditorium.
According to the agenda, council members have been presented with the proposed budget. Notice of the public hearing was advertised Aug. 20 in the city’s legal organ.
A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection at Cochran City Hall.
The Aug. 27 meeting will include the call to order, invocation and pledge, roll call and approval of the agenda before the public hearing is opened. The hearing will then be closed following public comments, and the meeting will adjourn.
