COCHRAN — Bleckley County cross country turned in a winning performance Saturday, taking first place overall at the Class of the Classes meet in Bleckley County.
Competing on their home course, the Royals put together a strong team effort throughout the morning and finished atop the overall standings.
The Class of the Classes meet was one of the early tests on Bleckley County’s schedule and gave the Royals another opportunity to compete in front of a home crowd.
Bleckley County will return to action Sept. 5 at the Pitchers 3K in Dothan, Alabama. The meet is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.
