COCHRAN — The Cochran-Bleckley County Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. is holding its annual scholarship raffle, with all proceeds benefiting scholarships for local students.
Tickets are $10 each or three for $25. Participants will have a chance to win one of 10 prizes, including outdoor furniture, swings, a picnic table and other items.
The drawing will be held Oct. 17 during the Great Pumpkin Festival, prior to the fireworks. Ticket holders do not have to be present to win.
Organizers say the raffle serves as both a fundraiser for local education and a way for the community to invest in future graduates.
Tickets are available through the Cochran-Bleckley County Chamber of Commerce Foundation or from any Chamber board member.
