The Bleckley County High School and Middle School cross country teams were set to begin their 2026 seasons Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Peach State Preview in Jeff Davis.
The high school race was scheduled for 8 a.m., while the middle school team were to compete at 9:15 a.m.
Both teams will return home Saturday, Aug. 22, for the annual Class of the Classes meet in Bleckley County. The middle school race is set for 8 a.m., followed by the high school race at 9:15 a.m.
The high school schedule also includes trips to Dothan, Alabama; Carrollton; Charlotte; Warner Robins; and Jeff Davis, along with several home meets. Bleckley will host a two-mile night race Sept. 24 and the Bleckley County Invitational Oct. 1.
Postseason competition for the high school team includes sectionals/region at Jeff Davis Oct. 31 and the state meet in Carrollton Nov. 7.
The middle school schedule includes meets at Jeff Davis and Warner Robins, as well as several home races. Bleckley County will host the middle school region meet Oct. 6 and state meet Oct. 10.
