COCHRAN — The Cochran-Bleckley County Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to celebrate a series of grand openings and ribbon cuttings over the next several weeks as four businesses and organizations mark exciting new milestones.

Residents are encouraged to attend the events, meet business owners and staff, and help welcome these additions to the local community.

The schedule includes:

Friday, Aug. 7

  • 10 a.m. – Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for Royal Eleven and Cochran Beverage Outlet, located at 182 E. Dykes St., Cochran.
  • 1 p.m. – Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for Beauty From Ashes Youth Leadership Academy Inc., located at 123 N. Fifth St., Cochran.

Thursday, Aug. 13

  • 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Open House for Dr. Guy Easterling’s Cochran location.
  • 4 p.m. – Ribbon Cutting ceremony.
  • The practice is located at 145 E. Peacock St., Suite 3, Cochran.

Thursday, Aug. 18

  • 10 a.m. – Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for Redbird Cottage, located at 147 E. Dykes St., Cochran.

The Chamber encourages community members, local leaders and fellow business owners to attend the celebrations and show their support for the growing business community in Bleckley County.

Ribbon cuttings not only celebrate the opening of a new business or organization but also recognize the investment, hard work and commitment that owners bring to the community.
