Residents across the region are being invited to join in a prehistoric-themed scavenger hunt this summer as the Ocmulgee Regional Library System launches its “ORLS Dino Hunt.”
According to promotional materials, participants are encouraged to spot dinosaur displays placed around town, snap photos with them, and share the pictures on Facebook using the hashtag #ORLSdinohunt.
The Dino Hunt runs from May 8 through June 26 and includes opportunities to win prizes. Winners will be announced weekly during the event.
The hunt is sponsored by the Ocmulgee Regional Library System and includes participation from libraries serving Bleckley, Dodge, Pulaski, Telfair, Wheeler and Wilcox counties.
Organizers encourage families, children and community members to explore their communities, have fun and take part in the interactive summer activity.
The slogan for the event is simple:
“Find them. Snap them. Share them.”
