Early voting continues steadily in Bleckley County ahead of the upcoming election, according to figures provided today (Monday) by Bleckley County Chief Registrar Cheryl Ates.

Ates said 42 people voted Saturday, bringing the overall total to 1,050 voters as of Monday morning before lunch.

She also noted voting turnout has remained fairly balanced so far between male and female voters.

Early voting is taking place at the Bleckley County Board of Elections office. The final day for early voting will be May 15.
