The Bleckley County Royals fell to Fannin County, 8-4, Thursday in Game 2 of their playoff series.
Fannin County took an early lead with runs in the second and third innings before adding four runs in the fourth. The Rebels extended the lead with two more runs in the sixth.
Bleckley County fought back late, scoring three runs in the sixth inning and one in the seventh, but the rally came up short.
The Royals finished with four runs on four hits. W. Boatright, J. Johnson, N. Woodard and C. Finch each recorded a hit for Bleckley County. C. Finch scored two runs, while W. Boatright and J. Johnson each scored once.
J. Holloway started on the mound for the Royals, with C. Elliott pitching in relief.
They will play tomorrow at 12:30. Friday, May 1.
