The Bleckley County Lady Royals saw their postseason run come to an end with a 7-0 loss to Bremen in playoff action.

Bremen took an early lead, going up 3-0 by halftime. In an effort to generate offensive momentum, the Lady Royals made adjustments in the second half, including moving goalkeeper Jana Tomlin out of the net.

Bremen extended its lead before Tomlin returned to goal late in the match, with the final score settling at 7-0.

Despite the loss, the Lady Royals’ coaches reflected positively on the season, noting the team’s effort and growth throughout the year.

“It was a good year for the girls, but that was an extremely talented team we played,” the coaches said. “Kudos to them for being as good as they are.”
