From Staff Reports

Camp Good Grief will be held June 17–19 at Camp Stillwater, offering a free, supportive environment for children ages 6–14 who have experienced loss.

The camp is open to children dealing with a variety of life changes, including the loss of a loved one, divorce, relocation, foster care placement, or having a deployed family member. The program is designed to help children process grief in a safe and caring setting while connecting with others who have had similar experiences.

Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, and meals will be provided at no cost to participants.

For more information or to register a child, contact Priscilla McIntyre with Hospice Care Options at (478) 374-4888. Volunteer opportunities are also available.
