Registration is now open for the Bleckley Head Start program for the 2026–2027 school year.
The program, offered through the Middle Georgia Community Action Agency, serves children ages 3 to 5 and focuses on early childhood education, school readiness and family support services.
Parents and guardians interested in enrolling their children can apply in person at 168 E. Lewis Street in Cochran or by contacting the center directly.
Required documentation for enrollment includes proof of birth, a Social Security card, immunization records, proof of income and other health-related forms.
Additional documents may include Medicaid or insurance information, SNAP, SSI or TANF verification, a well-child check, dental exam and a Georgia Public Health Form 3300.
