Chrystal Harris Randall, daughter of the late Chris Harris, was presented a proclamation by Cochran Mayor Carla Coley naming April 17 as Chris Harris Day—a day to remember the man Harris was and the lasting impact he had on the community.
Community members are encouraged to show kindness to one another in his honor, as this was one of the traits he was known for. Randall and her husband have also established a scholarship in his memory.
