Tammy (Barlow) Yearty, 55, sits on her stool behind a table full of vibrant mixes, crafting one of her specialty drinks at Royal Nutrition on East Dykes Street in Cochran. A line of customers waits patiently, while orders ping in constantly on her phone.
Being busy doesn’t faze Yearty, a retired teacher who spent 29 years guiding primary school students and raising two sons of her own.
On July 24, she will celebrate three years of Royal Nutrition serving the Cochran community.
“When I retired from teaching, we knew I’d need something to do,” Yearty said. Friends in the health club business introduced her to the world of loaded teas, specialty beauty drinks, and protein shakes—and even let her learn hands-on in their own businesses.
“When we started bringing Royal Nutrition to life here in Cochran, I knew it would be something different, something people would want to try,” she said. “I have faith in the products and knew they could make a real impact on people’s health.”
Royal Nutrition’s drinks are more than tasty—they’re packed with vitamins, minerals, and essential nutrients. From protein to support muscle health, antioxidants for overall wellness, to energy-boosting blends, each drink is designed to nourish the body while tasting great.
Yearty says the support from the community has been beyond her expectations. “People have been amazing. There really is more to these drinks than just the flavor—they make you feel good, inside and out,” she said.
