COCHRAN/BLECKLEY COUNTY: Don’t fret if you see some men and women walking around in the community wearing fluorescent safety vets and taking pictures of buildings.
According to a release on the City of Cochran official Facebook page, this is a routine part of gathering updated property information for tax assessment purposes, and these individuals are representatives from Georgia Mass Appraisal Solutions and Services (GMASS).
They are here on behalf of the Bleckley County Tax Assessor’s Office as part of the property assessment process.
