COCHRAN — Losing a loved one can leave individuals and families struggling with grief, uncertainty and overwhelming emotions. Compassus, has partnered with Lucas Funeral Home, and they are offering a grief support group in Cochran to help those experiencing loss find comfort and learn ways to cope.
The support group will meet Monday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home, located at 122 W. Dykes St. in Cochran.
The gathering is designed to provide support for individuals grieving the death of someone significant in their lives.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn what to expect during the grieving process, explore ways to cope with loss and gain practical techniques to support themselves and their loved ones.
Grief is a deeply personal experience, and finding support can be an important part of navigating life after the loss of someone special.
No RSVP is required, and those seeking support are welcome to attend.
