The Bleckley County Library has a full calendar of activities planned for October, with programs available for children, teens and adults.
Regular activities include Canasta at 2 p.m. on Thursdays, Mahjong at 2 p.m. on Fridays and the Knit & Crochet Social Club at 4 p.m. on select Wednesdays.
Other programs during the month include Craft & Create, Homeschool Hangout, Sensory Play, Lego Club and Storytime.
Special events include an Author Talk with Hart Mizell at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 6, the Opioid Harm Reduction Hub Launch at 4 p.m. Oct. 15, Dungeons & Dragons at 4 p.m. Oct. 22, and a Paranormal Investigator program with Michael Angus at 4 p.m. Oct. 27.
The library will be closed Oct. 12.
Programs are offered for varying age groups, and residents are encouraged to check the library’s October calendar for individual event details.
