Heartland EMS will host a community blood drive Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at its Cochran location, 256 Lucas Road.
The drive is being held in partnership with the Shepeard Community Blood Center and includes a football-themed promotion encouraging donors to “Roast the Competition.” Donors will receive a free Chick-fil-A offer and a promotional T-shirt.
Participants must be at least 16 years old and are required to present photo identification. Donors are also asked to complete a QuickPass on the day of their donation before arriving.
The event is part of an effort to encourage local residents to give blood while adding a little friendly football rivalry to the occasion.
Heartland EMS is located at 256 Lucas Road in Cochran.
