COCHRAN — Bleckley County Middle School fell to Dodge County Middle School 38-8 in region football action.
The Barons struck first and held an early 8-6 lead. DJ Durham scored Bleckley County’s only touchdown of the game and also added the two-point conversion.
Coach Alex Garnto said the Barons simply couldn’t match up physically as the game progressed against a strong Dodge County team.
“We led 8-6 early and didn’t have enough physically for a good Dodge team,” Garnto said.
Dodge County went on to pull away for the 38-8 victory.
