COCHRAN — Redbird Cottage celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting Tuesday, Aug. 18, at its location at 147 East Dykes Street in Cochran.
Community members, local officials and representatives of the Cochran-Bleckley County Chamber of Commerce gathered for the event, which included a ribbon cutting in front of the business.
Redbird Cottage offers a variety of antiques, vintage items, collectibles, home décor, kitchenware and other unique finds. Inside, shoppers can browse displays filled with dishes, decorative pieces, furniture, floral arrangements and other items.
The grand opening also included refreshments and a celebratory cake featuring the Redbird Cottage logo.
The business is the latest addition to Cochran’s local retail community, offering shoppers another place to browse for one-of-a-kind and vintage pieces.
