BCHS- Royals football traveled to Taylor County for a jamboree scrimmage August 14. The varsity played all four quarters, two against Southwest, two against Taylor County. They beat Southwest 30-0, beat Taylor County 17-7. BC opens the regular season at West Laurens August 21, kickoff is 7:30 pm.
Lady Royals Softball– The August 11 game versus Irwin County was rained out. They defeated Jones County 6-3 August 12 and won 10-8 at Washington County August 13. They start region play August 18 at home versus Dodge County at 5:30 pm.
Runnin’ Royals Cross Country– Both teams finished first place at the Peach State Preview hosted by Jeff Davis High School August 15. Next up is Clash of the Classes at home August 22 at 9:15 am.
BCMS- Barons football. BC lost their season opener to Pulaski County Middle School 8-6. They host Johnson County August 20 at 5 pm.
Lady Barons softball– They lost at Telfair County 7-1 August 10.. The region opener versus Dublin August 11 was rained out. Their next game is at West Laurens August 18 at 4:30 pm.
Runnin’ Barons Cross Country. The girls finished in first place, boys fourth at the Peach State Preview hosted by Jeff Davis. Jasper Faulk was top individual for the boys. BCMS will compete at Clash of the Classes August 22, it starts at 8 am.
