COCHRAN — Bleckley County Middle School softball is back, with the team scheduled to open its 2026 season Monday, Aug. 10, on the road against Telfair.
The season includes a mix of home and away contests through Sept. 10, with several region matchups along the way.
The Lady Barons will play their first home game Thursday, Aug. 13, when they host region opponent Dublin at 4:30 p.m.
Other region opponents on the schedule include West Laurens, Dodge and East Laurens. The schedule also includes games against Jones County, Swainsboro, Hawkinsville and Telfair.
The final regular-season game is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10, when Bleckley County hosts East Laurens at 4:30 p.m. The game will also serve as Eighth Grade Recognition Day.
Region playoffs are scheduled for Sept. 14, 15 and 17.
