COCHRAN– Promise of Hope Ministries is asking the community to help restock its food pantry through a food drive aimed at providing assistance to local families in need.
The ministry is especially requesting donations of canned vegetables, noting that multiple cans of the same item are especially helpful for serving families and keeping pantry shelves stocked.
Organizers say every donation, no matter the size, can make a difference.
“Together, we can make a difference,” the ministry shared in announcing the drive, encouraging residents to become part of the effort to fight food insecurity in the community.
For those unable to deliver donations, Promise of Hope Ministries is also offering pickup arrangements. Community members interested in donating food or scheduling a pickup may call 478-934-0771.
The food drive is part of the ministry’s ongoing mission to provide hope and practical assistance to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.
“Thank you for being part of the solution and bringing hope to our community,” the organization said.
Residents wishing to contribute are encouraged to donate canned vegetables such as green beans, corn, peas, mixed vegetables and similar pantry staples to help replenish supplies for those who rely on the food pantry.
