Students and families will have an opportunity to meet their teachers and prepare for the new school year during Meet the Teachers events scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 5, at schools across Bleckley County.
According to information shared by the Cochran-Bleckley County Chamber of Commerce, all school visitations will take place from 3:30-6 p.m.
The annual event gives students a chance to find their classrooms, meet teachers and staff, and become familiar with their schools before the first day of classes. Parents will also have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the upcoming school year.
Families are encouraged to attend the visitation at their child’s school and help students begin the 2026-27 school year with confidence.
