From Staff Reports
The Cochran Farmers Market welcomed shoppers to the courthouse square Saturday morning, offering fresh produce, baked goods, flowers and locally made products as part of the community’s Fourth of July weekend celebration.
Vendors filled the market with seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh eggs, homemade breads, cookies, jams, local honey and colorful flower bouquets. Patriotic displays and red, white and blue treats added to the festive atmosphere as the nation marked its 250th anniversary celebration.
The weekly market continues to provide an opportunity for residents to shop local while supporting area farmers, growers and small businesses.
The Cochran Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon on the courthouse square in downtown Cochran.
