The Ocmulgee Regional Library System is seeking applications for the position of Branch Manager at the Tessie W. Norris Bleckley County Library following the upcoming retirement of longtime Branch Manager Gina Thomas.
It was announced during last week’s Library Authority meeting that Thomas will retire effective Aug. 1 after 20 years of service to the library and the Bleckley County community.
The Branch Manager position offers an annual salary of $37,440, along with benefits that include health insurance, Teachers Retirement System (TRS) participation, and paid time off.
According to the job announcement, the Branch Manager will oversee daily operations of the local library branch and serve as a key leader in providing library services, programs, and resources to the community.
