Although the honor was announced in May, Bleckley County Elementary School is continuing to celebrate Kate Price, who was selected as the Bleckley County School District Teacher of the Year.
In the announcement on the school’s social media page, Price was praised for her commitment to students, fellow educators and the school community.
“Mrs. Price represents BCES with excellence, kindness and dedication each and every day,” the school shared in its announcement. “Our BCES family could not be more excited for Mrs. Price and this well-deserved honor.”
The recognition highlights Price’s impact in the classroom and her dedication to helping students succeed. Colleagues, students and administrators joined in celebrating the achievement and the positive example she sets across the district.
As District Teacher of the Year, Price represents Bleckley County Schools and the values of excellence, service and student success that educators strive to instill each day.
