From Staff Reports
The Promise of Hope Men’s Ministry is asking the community to help restock its food pantry through a canned food drive aimed at assisting local families in need.
According to organizers, the greatest need is for canned vegetables, including items such as green beans, corn, peas and mixed vegetables. Donors are encouraged to contribute multiple cans of the same item when possible, as this helps simplify distribution efforts.
“Together, we can make a difference,” the ministry noted in promotional materials for the drive.
Community members wishing to donate can arrange a drop-off or pickup by calling 478-934-0771.
Organizers said every donation helps provide hope and practical assistance to those facing food insecurity in the community.
