A special called meeting has been scheduled for Friday, June 12, at 10 a.m. in the Bleckley County Courthouse Commissioner Office.
According to the public notice, county officials will discuss the Local Homestead Option Sales Tax (LHOST), a property tax relief measure that can help offset homeowner property taxes through local sales tax revenue.
No additional agenda items were listed on the notice. The meeting is open to the public.
