The Cochran-Bleckley County Chamber of Commerce has announced the addition of Samantha Rowland to its staff as Marketing Assistant.
A Cochran native, Rowland is a 2015 graduate of Bleckley County High School. She continued her education at Oconee Fall Line Technical College, graduating in 2022, and is currently pursuing a nursing degree through Central Georgia Technical College.
According to information released by the Chamber, Rowland enjoys traveling and spending time with her daughter, Harper, and her family. She is also an active member of Limestone Baptist Church.
In her new role, Rowland will assist with marketing efforts and community engagement initiatives for the Chamber as it continues its mission of supporting local businesses and promoting the Cochran-Bleckley County community.
Rowland said she is excited for the opportunity to serve the community through the Chamber and looks forward to becoming an integral part of its ongoing work.
The Chamber is encouraging residents and local business leaders to extend a warm welcome when they see Rowland around the community.
“We are excited to have Samantha join our team and look forward to the contributions she will make as we continue serving our members and community,” Chamber officials said in the announcement.
